Located on the top of a small Hill 80 meters from the sands of Praia Grande, Kilometers of White sands and crystal clear Waters, Pousada Caminho do Sol combines nature and tranquility in the State of Rio de Janeiro and approximately two hours from the Center of the capital. Arraial do Cabo is one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Lakes region. In addition to beautiful beaches and White sand dunes, it also hás áreas of Atlantic Forest and sandbanks.
Our story
Pousada Caminho do sol began in 1996, when Arraial do Cabo did not yet have the tourist vocation of today Two years later, Joachim Scheel, the Poppe family and the Juliao family came together to develop the inn until today. There are 25 years of tradition in hosting in our city. Over the years, we have expanded our services, always thinking about taking the affection of out service to a comfortable and quality accommodation. In 2002 we launched the Sol na Cozinha Restaurant, which to this Day brings a joyful and relaxed cuisine to our guests and externo customers. Currently, the Pousada is managed by the same family, maintaining the standard that led Caminho do Sol to maintain the details and exclusivity of its facilities and services.
